Friends in Faith
Wednesdays Sept. 23, 2026- April 28, 2027 After School - 5PM

Friends in Faith (FIF) is our children’s education and faith formation program for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Throughout the school year, we gather each week to learn Bible stories, grow in faith, build friendships, and discover what it means to live out our faith together. Our time includes games, music and worship, Bible lessons, activities, snacks, and plenty of opportunities for connection and fun. We strive to create a welcoming, safe, and joyful environment where every child can ask questions, explore their faith, and know that they are a beloved child of God. FIF is made possible by a wonderful team of volunteers who share their time and gifts with our children. Whether your child has been part of FIF for years or is joining us for the first time, there is always a place for them at Friends in Faith!

Confirmation
First and Third Sundays Oct. 4, 2026 - April 18, 2026, 11:30AM - 1:30PM

Our Confirmation program is a two-year journey for 7th and 8th grade students, offering young people the opportunity to grow in faith, ask questions, explore Scripture, and discover what it means to live out their baptismal identity. Through regular gatherings, conversation, service, worship, and time together, students are encouraged to wrestle with their questions and deepen their understanding of God’s love and grace. Confirmation is not a requirement for membership or a sacrament, but an invitation to explore faith and grow together as a community.

Brewed Theology (BT) is designed to help groups engage in meaningful conversations about faith, culture, and society. It was developed with Christian contexts in mind and is structured to facilitate discussions without awkward silences or soapboxing.

Bible Recap
Wednesdays 9:30AM - 10:30AM

We have been working on reading through the bible in a year. If you would like to jump in with us, you are welcome to do so at any point.

ELCA Youth Gathering
June 26–28, 2027

The 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering will take place June 26–28, 2027 for pre-events and June 28–July 2, 2027 for the main event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a three-year cycle event bringing together thousands of high school-aged youth and adult leaders from across the ELCA for a week of faith formation, community, and leadership.
